Taqdeer is a breath of fresh air in the Bengali web series zone. It is undoubtedly one of the best crime thriller Bengali series. Taqdeer is chilling and fascinating to watch. Good acting performance, music, cinematography, lighting, real locations, not-so-complicated but dark, intense, and engaging plot, everything about this series is remarkable. In a word, this series is impressive.

Plot Of Hoichoi Web Series Taqdeer
Taqdeer, a freezer van driver, transports dead bodies from home to the burial ground. One day he discovers an unclaimed dead body of a woman in his van. He tried to find out who left the body. As the story moves forward, Taqdeer unknowingly stepped into an unknown trap. Gradually the real mystery unfolds. Taqdeer embarks on a strange adventure.
The storyline does not have many twists, but the execution was perfect. The concept was unique and thrilling. The series takes its time to unfold. The narrative turns interesting with the introduction of a dead body. One gets engrossed in the tale of the common man caught in extraordinary circumstances.
But as the story progresses and we get to know more about the central plot, things become predictable. The screenplay that goes back and forth silently, thereby leading to confusion initially, also becomes apparent.
However, as the central character of Taqdeer keeps us engage with the unique scenario he finds himself in, we go through his journey.
Even though the story was too predictable, the presentation deserves praise. The series is a result of the director Syed Ahmed Shawki’s five months of research.
Taqdeer Star Cast
Chanchal Chowdhury as Taqdeer is superb. He is a torchbearer of method acting in Bangladesh and amazes everyone with his tremendous acting skill.
Chanchal’s presence and acting are one of the main reasons why one gets engrossed in the narrative right from the start. The character is well written. He encompasses various emotions like anger, frustration, and sorrow, etc. The actor does a convincing job of portraying them and keeps the audience connected to the story.
Shohel Mondol as Montu is outstanding. Sanjida Preeti is remarkable as a fearless journalist who goes to any extent to cover the truth. Barua Partha as a hitman is effective, but sometimes one cannot help but feel if the terror is missing due to his demeanor.
The background score by Ruslan Rehman is excellent. It adds a lot of intense feel to the narrative. The cinematography by Barkat Hossain Polash is neat for a small-scale production using real locations.
